Titans fall to Burros for first loss of season

After a 2-0 start, the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans girls’ basketball season lost a close game at home, 45-43 to the Hillsboro-Central Valley Burros in Drayton.H-CV led after one quarter, 11-7, but the Titans battled back to tie the game 27-27 at halftime.

Titans open season with win

The Drayton-Valley Edinburg Titans opened the 2024-2025 Girls’ Basketball season with a win against Warwick in Edinburg on Dec. 3.The Titans defense allowed the Lady Warriors only three field goals all game on their way to a dominating 74-11 win.

Titans improve to 2-0 with win over rival Cavalier

By Mike Alan Steinfeldt The Drayton-Valley Edinburg Titans girls’ basketball team improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 5044 victory over Region 2, District 3 opponent Cavalier Friday Dec. 6, in Cavalier.The game was close throughout and boiled down to the final four minutes of the contest.

Titans advance to quarterfinals with win over Larimore

The Titans survived a first set scare in their Region 2 play-in game last Friday in Crystal, then went on to complete a three-set sweep over the Larimore Polar Bears to advance to the region quarterfinals.The first set was a back-and-fourth affair with the score tied 12 different times.

Titans come close in Region 2 Quarterfinals

In their first Region 2 Quarterfinal appearance in recent memory, the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans came within a whisker of defeating the third seeded Hillsboro-Central Valley Burros.The Titans came within two points of victory in the first set before falling, 27-25 in extra points.

Bombers fall to Tigers in championship game
