Titan girls continue to struggle

Edinburg Titans won a game, they topped the Midway-Minto Mustangs, 45-39 in Drayton on Dec. 17.The Mustangs returned the favor on Jan. 16, in Minto handing the Titans their fifth straight loss by the score of 41-30.

Titan boys fall to Northern Cass

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg boys’ basketball team had their hands full on Friday Dec. 10 hosting Class A Northern Cass in Edinburg.D-V-E fell behind early and never caught up, falling to the Jaguars 6545.“Northern Cass is a good and well coached team,” Head coach Jacob Larson said.

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans needed overtime to defeat the Nelson County Chargers, 68-66 in game played in Edinburg on Jan. 7.The Titans jumped out to an early first quarter lead paced by Trenten Keena with 11 points and Jack Langerud with six.

Titan girls mired in losing streak

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans girls’ basketball team have been finding wins hard to come by in the past few weeks.After starting the season 4-2, D-V-E lost its final game before the Christmas break to Park River-Fordville-Lankin, 38-30.

Titans boys WIN first game of the season

 After starting the season with two losses, the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans picked up their first win of the season Monday, with a hard fought, 57-55 win over the Cavalier Tornadoes in Edinburg.According to coach Jacob Larson, Monday’s game was a school day game, starting at 1 p.m.

Mustangs at homeThe Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans picked up a big win in Region 2, District 3 girls’ basketball action with a 45-39 win over the Midway-Minto Mustangs on Dec. 17 in Drayton.The Mustangs led 11-10 after one quarter, but the Titans managed to tie the game, 23-23 at the half.

Polar Bears top Titans at home

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans dropped their second consecutive game of the season, falling to the Larimore Polar Bears, 53-49 on Dec. 10 in Drayton.For the second night in a row the Titans saw a third quarter lead slip away.
