The beginning of a new quarter is something weird, knowing it’s going to be the last time I’m here makes everything feel strange. Tension is high as everyone is making sure they don’t have homework for the weekend. Everyone wants to have zero homework while they get ready for festivities.

Are you ready for Halloween? I am not. I have one kid’s costume ordered and the other won’t make a decision about what to dress up as (tween turmoil). I still need to buy candy and figure out what to send to school with kiddos for them to hand out among their classmates.

Bowesmont Lives

This was a good week for finishing the harvesting of many crops, but not so good for harvesting news items. On Monday Merv and Phyllis Holter and Saralee Hoselton were among those who had dinner at the Sugar Bowl Senior Citizen’s Center. Saralee stayed for an afternoon of cards and socializing.
