Former owner Lyle Van Camp is home and recovering. He came through his surgery beautifully and is doing very well. Due to cold and flu season and especially for these first few weeks we may not be attending as many events.

Grafton Driver’s License office temporarily closed on March 17

February 19, 2020 The North Dakota Department of Transportation will temporarily close the Driver’s License Office in Grafton Tuesday, March 17, due to building maintenance. The office will reopen and resume normal hours Tuesday, April 7. Hours for the Grafton office are 9:20 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Social Security Matters

Dear Rusty: If I have reached full retirement age (FRA) and wish to sell a $500,000 asset, will it affect my wife’s Social Security if we file jointly? I have heard that it will affect my Medicare (the amount withheld each month) but she still has three more years before she can receive benefits.
