I have to take a step back from my new series “The Brush Bunch at Work” as we have several “Artists of the Month” missing, Montana. The artists are not missing I just forgot to do an article on who was selected for the special area where they would have displayed there art, craft or photography.

What is the answer to stop bullying? There are calls for tougher laws and schools to step up their policies. Is this really the answer? Will this stop the bullies? Although it may help it is like slapping a band aid on the problem. Perhaps a better solution would be to stop it before it starts.

Many may have noticed my absence at ball games and other activities. I managed to make it to the basketball games that were in Drayton, but all others I have not been making it to. There is a very simple reason as to why.

Monday dawned full of hope and anticipation. My first day back at work was one source of joy and even though I am only allowed to work half time for the first couple of weeks it helps a lot to be doing something outside of the house again.

Guest Columnist

The country is now in the grips of a mysterious bout with polarization not seen for generations in American society. Hate and anger seem to have displaced civil discourse and honest disagreement. For some strange reason, we are an unhappy people in a time of impressive prosperity.

Community Help Still Needed

Former owner Lyle Van Camp is home and recovering. He came through his surgery beautifully and is doing very well. Due to cold and flu season and especially for these first few weeks we may not be attending as many events.

Titans Topple Mustangs in Drayton Last Week

On Tuesday evening of last week the Titans Boys hosted Midway-Minto’s Mustangs in the nightcap of a girls/boys double header. The Titans closed out the evening with a 55-42 win.
