Tuesday Merv and Phyllis Holter went to Cavalier and had lunch at the Frosty Fox.
That evening Saralee Hoselton was among the group that celebrated Mardi Gras with a pot luck supper at the Tisdale Manor Dining Room.
Since I have already shared one Artist of the Month, since I miss a few in the past, I may as well honor one more; Carol Clark has been a member of the Brush Bunch since the 2000-2001 season and according to her had never attempted to do any art work. Talk about opening a “Can of Worms.

Rev. Daniel Woolner, a former resident of Drayton, died at his home in Michigan City, N.D. on Monday, after a lingering illness. He subsequently quit the service of Uncle Sam and took up his residence in Drayton, becoming a farmer and local preacher in the M.E. church.
As insurance companies push doctors to save money by switching their patients to generic drugs, complaints about those generics appear to be on the upswing.
Daylight savings time is the bane of the existence of many. In recent years there has been a debate in many states about keeping daylight savings time. Studies have shown that changing the clocks can be very hard on a person’s system. Yet twice each year we change our clocks by an hour.
We are incredibly blessed to live in a community who will pull together to help others. Lyle and I are members of the Drayton Knights. Through the years we have been part of helping to put on many benefits for others. It was really strange to be on the receiving end of one to say the least.
For nearly half of my life I have been a member of a service club, or organization, of some type. For most of those years I have been a member of the Drayton Knights.
When we don’t have the courage to admit we are bigots, we take the circuitous route by claiming our objections are based on costs and the rumors we hear from other bigoted observers. That is what is happening in North Dakota in the refugee resettlement program.
