A couple of Sundays ago my wife decided to make a pot roast for dinner. She had announced her plans to put the roast in the crock pot, like we have done for many years. I suggested that we do it the old fashioned way – put the beef roast in a roaster and bake it in the oven, like the olden days.

There was an outdoor track meet on Monday, April 24, 2023 at OJ & Dee Jensen Kiwanis Invitational. It was our first outdoor track meet for the Titans. It was around 50 degrees that day. We had a lot of people from the boys and girls place in the running, throwing, and field events.

I think my biggest grievance with this weather is the fact that I don’t get to spend as much time with my horses nor ride as much as I used to. Luckily, on Saturday, we had full sun all day, which helped melt away the foot of snow that had just fallen.
