With all the big spring tournaments going on, it is easy to use a sports metaphor to understand what has been happening in Bismarck with our district representatives. The team has gone rogue and has forgotten that the coach, the leader, is actually US - the voters.

While going through the beverage line at the benefit on Saturday evening, a good friend stopped to visit for a second. Giving my arm a quick squeeze, he leaned in and asked if I’m still driving my bride’s car? My response was a quick, “every chance I get.” But to be honest that was a bit of a fib.

Spring has sprung! Knock on wood…. My kids have been playing outside in sweatshirts, shorts, and winter boots. They come back into the house filthy from playing in the water and melting snow, and I am totally fine with that.
