My 100 year old sister is obviously much tougher than I am. Last year she fell down, split her head open, got 32 staples, and six stitches; then she went out for lunch. After I took my little tumble, I had no staples and no stitches but I spent two days in the ICU and 12 days in rehab.

Being a mom is a lot of work. You already know that. When something suddenly becomes easier, it’s extremely welcome! Both of my kids now know how to make scrambled eggs and pancakes. The responsibility of making breakfast is now shared by the three of us and that’s amazing!
