A couple of Sundays ago my wife decided to make a pot roast for dinner.
She had announced her plans to put the roast in the crock pot, like we have done for many years. I suggested that we do it the old fashioned way – put the beef roast in a roaster and bake it in the oven, like the olden days.
She thought that was a good idea, so in the oven it went.
