Happy belated Mother’s Day greetings to you all. You may be a mother, you definitely have a mother, so it is something to celebrate one way or another. You all know by now how much I love my girls.

I underestimated this last surgery. I underestimated it terribly. Perhaps I bounced back from the others too well and let myself get cocky. Last Wednesday, Phil and I hit the road for Minneapolis, once again, to see Dr. Ali.

On Monday, May 8, Saralee Hoselton and Clarice Mosolf took each other out for supper at Hastings Landing to celebrate their respective birthdays— belated for Saralee and on-the-day for Clarice. Earlier that afternoon Ann Osborne entertained Clarice and Val Lethermen with ice cream and cake.
