Daniel Joseph Pokrzywinski, age 84 of Drayton, ND, passed away peacefully from lung and brain cancer on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at home with his loving wife by his side holding his hand. He was born on March 11, 1939 to Max and Edith (Kasprick) Pokrzywinski in Grafton, ND.

Alcyd Soderfelt

Reverend Alcyd N. Soderfelt passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 14, 2023. He was born in Grafton, ND on June 21, 1938, to Anne and Kenneth Soderfelt. He was the oldest of eight children and was raised on a farm in Drayton, ND. Alcyd was a minister for most of his adult life.

Keith Lee Brown of Grand Forks, ND passed away on July 31, 2023, at his home in Grand Forks. Keith was born April 4, 1947, to Donald and Irene (Jensen) Brown in Drayton, ND. Keith grew up in Drayton, ND and attended Drayton High School.

Richard Lloyd Hermanson was born on December 13, 1946, on his family farm in Pelan, Mn to Lloyd and Clara (Wolff) Hermanson. He attended school in Karlstad where he graduated in 1964. He then went on to serve 2 years in the Army.

Todd Mattson was born August 25, 1964 in Williston, ND, the son of the late Roger and JoAnn (Votava) Mattson. He grew up in Rural Drayton where he attended school, graduating from Drayton High School in 1982.

Clarence Oden Carlson, 101, a longtime Crookston, MN resident, passed away December 3, 2022, in the Good Samaritan Society-Sacred Heart, Bismarck, ND. Clarence had gone to Bismarck 2 weeks prior to be closer to his son, Clare, as his health was beginning to fail.
