While we are still in Michigan, watching and waiting while Robert’s mom is in the hospice facility, we have tried to make the best of the situation, considering Theodore’s 16th birthday was May 8, the day we arrived in Michigan, and Amelia’s 14th birthday was May 19.

On May 6, Saralee Hoselton took the PMCT Van to Grafton. Here she ran errands and visited with Clairice Mosolf at the Lutheran Sunset Home.Saralee Hoselton was among those who had dinner at the Sugar Bowl Senior Citizens’ Center on May 8, she stayed afterwards for a time of socializing and cards.

Okay, okay, not exactly. Last Thursday morning, we left Walhalla on a trip to Michigan, one we knew was coming but didn’t exactly know when. Robert’s mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in November.
