By Grant Vold This week at Drayton flew by for most. For others, like the girls’ basketball team, it probably felt really long, as they had a game against Hillsboro on Tuesday to start the week. That game was a fight until the end and was super close the entire time.

By Mike Alan Steinfeldt The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans girls basketball team won their season opener against rival Cavalier, 62-33 on Dec. 1. On the road, the Titans got down by a score 7-0 early, but rallied in the second quarter to take control of the contest from there on.

The 2023 Volleyball Season came to an end on Friday, Nov. 3, as the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans volleyball team fell 3-1 to the North Border Eagles in a play-in game for the Region 2 Volleyball Tournament. The loss may have ended the Titans season, but they didn’t go down without a fight.
