Will My Social Security Benefits Ever Be Non-Taxable?

Dear Rusty: If we take our Social Security at our full retirement age (66 years and 6 months for both of us) and we both continue to work, what are the income tax consequences? Is there an age at which we can still work and draw Social Security without tax consequences on our benefits?

The people strive to do great things. It is how the Tower of Babel came to be with people collaborating to build something great. The problem was that God was not at the center of the effort (Genesis Chapters 10 & 11). God saw what was going on at Babel and let it go for a while.

Souper Bowl of Caring Time

It’s Souper Bowl time let’s tackle hunger as part of the souper bowl of caring. Once again on Super Bowl Sunday the Drayton United Methodist Church will be accepting donations to go to the Pembina County Food Pantry.

Produce grower training session scheduled

BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Agriculture is hosting a free food safety course for the state’s local food producers. The Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) Grower Training Course will be hosted March 3, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Preserving Francis Hall by Merry Helm February 7, 2022 — There is much interest in architectural preservation in North Dakota these days, so it’s interesting that already back in 1923, there was concern about losing a historic building at the North Dakota Agricultural College in Fargo.

A matter of dedication and training...

Athletes spend a lifetime of dedication, sacrifice, and training to reach their Olympic goals. With the current Olympic games being held it brings up once again all the political undertones that go on leading up to any Olympic games.

And the Gold goes to...

The television viewing at our house has been consumed with the Olympics since the mixed doubles curling started. It took a while for us to catch on to this variation of the sport of curling. Once we did, however, we were enthralled with the strategy and intricacies of the sport.

I guess I have reached that age where I am starting to get nostalgic for what us “old folks” fondly refer to as “the good old days”. Recently I had the opportunity to browse through my parents’ collection of DHS Annuals.

In Most Respects, North Dakota Is Okay

In the creation, it is rumored that the earth was without form and void. And that was before anyone ever saw North Dakota. The Jockey Club in New Jersey protested the creation of a state that was a blank nothingness. Minnesota claimed that we would never make it here.
