Mid-term elections are upon us...

We are at the point where the midterm elections are just around the corner. With that being said we will start to see political advertising for candidates soon. In more recent years there seems to be a push from some towards some sort of a Socialist society.

Will winter ever end...

From the first snow and cold snap I often wonder each year when winter will end. By the time that January and February hit I am wondering if winter will ever end. I know that it will because it always does. However, the older I get the less I like winter and everything that comes with it.

More information on DHS Yearbook history

During my break at work one day last week, I went through the files of DHS yearbooks and made a list of all of the ones we are missing at the school. Of the known years that yearbooks have been printed, 1946- 2021, we are missing 1946, 1947, 1957, 1958, 1959 and 1988.

The Downside of the Teaching Profession

If you or your children are considering going into teaching for a career, you might want to reconsider such a decision. First, compared to other college graduates, the salary is only 78% of those equally educated. In North Dakota it isn’t competitive with peers.
