How does a prodigal make his way back to church after four decades? During my years as a prodigal I might have read 10 books by Christian authors. Most of those were written by one man, A.W. Tozer (1897-1963). What drew me to Tozer was his solid interpretation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

DHS events

This week at Drayton Public School there have been a few events that have been taking place. Softball and baseball seasons have officially started, and the athletes had their first practice in Grafton on March 18. Several students took part in the Math Track Meet in Cavalier on March 18.

Drayton High School students excel at Pembina County Music Festival

Seven students from Drayton High School attended the Pembina County Music Festival on Wednesday, March 20 at Walhalla last week. Led by Suzanne O’Neil, DPS music teacher, the participants all received high honors for their performances. Ian Peterson earned a star rating for his vocal performance.

For a large portion of winter, an elusive interstate vagabond was spotted by countless community members roaming the fields and ditches between Highway 17 in Grafton and along I-29 near Drayton.

“I couldn't have asked for a better sale,” said Jamie Mattice, organizer of Drayton’s first ever Anything Goes Sale. Drayton High School’s gymnasium was filled with vendors, shoppers, and students for most of last Saturday.
