Christmas baking and candy making
This weekend I found a little time to do some of things I love to do! Yup, I baked and made some candy. Here are two of the recipes I made.
Caramels
2 cups of butter
2 cups cream
2 cups sugar
2 cups Karo Syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all the ingredients except the vanilla in a Dutch oven. Stir and bring to a boil, continue to boil til a candy thermometer reaches 240 degrees. Remove from heat, stir in the …
