Fire guts Grafton garage

The Grafton Volunteer fire department responded to the call of a structure fire at 116 Wakeman Avenue in Grafton at about 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.Approximately 15 members of the fire department responded to the call.

In a marathon hearing that started at 11 AM and wrapped up after midnight, the House Agriculture Committee passed the farm bill on a 33-21 vote. All 29 Republican members of the committee and four Democrats voted for the farm bill.
