For the week ending August 11, 2024, there were 5.5 days suitable for fieldwork, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Topsoil moisture supplies rated 4% very short, 20% short, 70% adequate, and 6% surplus.
The Western North Dakota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), at a meeting in early June in Watford City passed a resolution encouraging congregations to study and discuss Christian nationalism. Big Hearts Daycare to reopen in Drayton

August 19, local families can return to the state licensed Big Hearts Daycare, located in the parish center of St. Edward’s Church in Drayton. The daycare had to temporarily close its doors on May 16, 2024 due to state mandates after not being able to fill the position of full time supervisor.
