In Revelation 11:8 the city of Jerusalem is called “the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt”. It has been suggested that it is called great “because it has had such an important place in the plan of God” (The Ultimate Victory, by Stanley M. Horton, p.160).

A friend of mine recently had a house fire and if that wasn’t bad enough just after the new roof was completed a tree fell on it. The children’s tree house was also destroyed in the second tragedy.

North Dakota’s state veterinarian says the state’s first reported case of anthrax this year is a reminder to livestock producers to take action to protect their animals from the disease, especially in areas with a past history of the disease.
