By Mike Alan Steinfeldt The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans girls basketball team won their season opener against rival Cavalier, 62-33 on Dec. 1. On the road, the Titans got down by a score 7-0 early, but rallied in the second quarter to take control of the contest from there on.

The 2023 Volleyball Season came to an end on Friday, Nov. 3, as the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans volleyball team fell 3-1 to the North Border Eagles in a play-in game for the Region 2 Volleyball Tournament. The loss may have ended the Titans season, but they didn’t go down without a fight.

By Mike Alan Steinfeldt The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans Volleyball earned a split in games played last week. The Titans defeated the Benson County Wildcats on Monday, Oct. 9, and dropped a match to the North Border Eagles on Thursday, Oct. 12.

and fourth overall in the State Six-Man Playoffs. “It’s not the finish we were hoping for,” said Foster. “But it goes to show that we do have something special here, and I can’t wait to see what we can do next year.” Regardless of the loss, there was still plenty to be celebrated at the Playoffs.
