Tis the season for basketball, gymnastics and figure skating. Between those three things, the pickup and drop off routine has been keeping this momma busy. We have come to the fun part though, the halftime gymnastics routines and basketball tournaments.

You get three guesses as to where I’m writing from this week, and the first two don’t count... That’s right! The road! I swear I’m going to start taking photos of all the different views from behind my laptop and make a collage. This time we’re headed to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Musings...So we bought a Roomba… and I think it’s stalking me… by Lyle

In our never ending search for ways to make our lives easier, not to mention my fascination with all things techy, we bought a Roomba. Actually we bought two, a vacuum and a wet mop. As long as you pay a little attention to them, they work great.

In this technology age, so much of what used to be done in person, is now done with apps, zoom, google docs, and the like. It’s all virtual. It creates speed and efficiency, but something does get lost when it comes to relationships and personalities.

On Jan. 16 Mike and Judy Stellon left for their Lake Havasu winter home and arrived there the next day. They will remain for several weeks. On Jan. 25 Saralee Hoselton took the Pembina County Meals and Transport van to Fargo for a medical appointment.

Usually you hear about people getting lost in the wild in the spring, summer, or fall, but not in the dead of winter.
