As I mentioned another week, the Goose is back. After spending nearly the entire winter wondering if we were going to be able to find a windshield for the Gray Goose and get her back on the road, everything fell together early this spring and our beloved motorhome is back home safe and sound.

What a beautiful summer it has become, even though it’s technically still spring! My girls and I enjoyed our first lake day of the summer last weekend and it was a good one! My youngest got thrown off the tube and into the middle of the lake for the first time.

Once you get down to Mike’s column, you’ll read about his ‘whirlwind trip.’ I like his term and I took a similar trip down to Tennessee last week myself. It’s a 22 hour drive and Phil and I generally make the trip within 24 hours with our two dogs in tow.
