Sunday morning I was deep into my normal routine when life threw me a curve ball, literally and metaphorically. I woke up a few minutes early, beating my 6:30 a.m. alarm by six minutes. After taking some time for myself I headed upstairs for an 84 minute workout on the spin bike.

I was pleased to find out this summer that two of my grandchildren have taken up the game of golf, sort of. My granddaughter Summer and grandson True have friends that golf and they have been tagging along and playing a few times. They have indicated they like the game and have shown some interest.

Neil Franks from New Jersey continued his visit with his sister Gayle Mc-Connell and other friends. He spent most of the week at the Pembina County Fair in Hamilton and said to be sure to mention that it was the best one in years. He returned home at the end of the week.
