I just finished paying the poll tax which allowed my bride and myself to vote in this year’s presidential election. If your immediate reaction is to think there is no poll tax being levied on the United States of America in this, the twenty-first century AD you have not priced postage stamps lately.

On Monday, Jan Maurstad and Saralee Hoselton took the PCMT van to Grafton where they had several appointments. Then they went to visit Clarice Mosolf at Lutheran Sunset Home. Before returning to Tisdale Manor, they had lunch at Shenanigans.

On Monday, Saralee Hoselton and Phyllis Holter attended the annual Pizza Party/Membership Drive at the Senior Citizen’s Center. The Sugar Bowl Senior Citizen’s Association holds this event every year on Columbus Day, also Indigenous People Day.
