Small Houses

It was a time when families were big and houses were small. It is a little “A” frame house on Windom Street in Drayton; the house built by Grandfather’s hands around 1940. Nearly two decades later the family meets for Christmas dinner at Grandmother’s house. Aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, parents, and grandparents are all gathered. The adults are content to sit on any chair available...
