A government who is not transparent becomes a dangerous governing body. This may sound very harsh; however, it is true. When transparency goes away then a governing body no longer has the eyes of the public at large watching them. This is when the slippery slope begins. The slope that leads to bending the rules then sliding right into dirty deals.
