In John 8:1-11 a woman accused of having had an adulterous affair is standing before Jesus. He is asked if she should be stoned as commanded in Moses’ law. After silencing her accusers, Jesus turned to the woman saying He was not condemning her, but that she should turn her life around and, “sin no more” (v:11).
