BISMARCK – HB 1475, a bill intended to raise the North Dakota interstate speed limit from 75 mph to 80 mph, was vetoed by Gov. Doug Burgum on March 29.
The bill was introduced by Rep. Ben Koppelman (R-West Fargo). If it had passed, North Dakota would have joined six neighboring states that already have interstate speeds of 80 mph.
