Sara Remme

Sara Lee Remme, 49, of Drayton, North Dakota passed away at Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024. Sara was born at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on March 10, 1974, the daughter of Charles Remme and Debra Bellamy. She grew up in Drayton and graduated Valedictorian of the 1992 class at Drayton High School. She went on to attend Dakota College at Bottineau and later enrolled in the veterinary program at Iowa State University. Sara only had one year left to finish her degree and become a veterinarian when she was diagnosed with MS.

Family members include her father, Charles Remme, Grafton; stepfather, Francis Bellamy, Drayton; sisters, Julie Peltier of Grafton, Mari Larman of Hoople, Kayla (Christopher) Piekarski of Grafton; brothers, Tim Remme of Grafton and Wayne Bellamy of Hoople; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Private family services are planned by Austin Funeral Chapel, Drayton.
