Kathy Knoff

Kathryn (Kathy) Ann Knoff, formerly of Drayton, passed away of COPD at her home in Sun City Arizona. No services will be held.

Kathy Felt was born on December 21, 1943, in Drayton, the daughter of Jean Felt. She attended medical school after graduating from Drayton High School in 1961 and worked as a Medical Secretary in St. Paul, Minnesota.

In 1963, she came home for a visit and met up with James (Jim) Knoff.

They fell in love and married on August 8, 1964. They had two children from this union, Jill Rae, born in 1966 and Michael James, born in 1968. The family moved to Indiana in 1966 and later to New River AZ in 1980.

The couple grew apart and divorced in 1983 but remained friends until her death. She spent the rest of her career working in the real estate industry.

Kathy never remarried. As to what became a tradition, Kathy hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations with Jim and the children for the next 40 years.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her children and numerous cousins.
