Arlene Keig

Arlene Carole Keig, 86, of Naples, Florida, passed away on March 24, 2024. She was born on March 23, 1938, in Drayton, North Dakota, to the late Ed and Dorine Walberg.

Arlene graduated from UND with her masters in education. She then continued to dedicate her life to education by serving as an elementary school teacher, where she positively impacted the lives of many children. She also managed Bill Keig's surgical practice with precision and care.

In her free time, Arlene found joy in gardening, staying up to date on current events, playing the piano, and fishing for walleye while taking boat rides around their cabin in Lake of the Woods, Canada.

Arlene will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her surviving family members: (Daughter) Shelly LaBelle, (Granddaughters) Lacey, Megan, and Crystal LaBelle, (Stepchildren) Bill Keig, Brian Keig, and Sharon Price, and (Sister) Thelma James.

She was preceded in death by her (Son) Michael Fail, (Husband) Bill Keig, (Mother) Dorine Walberg, (Father) Ed Walberg, (Brother) Dean Walberg, and (Former Husband) Mick Fail.

The family lost a matriarch, but heaven gained an angel. She may be resting in peace, but she's still hard at work in our hearts.
