Titans fall to first-place Griggs-Midkota

By Mike Alan Steinfeldt In a battle of the titans, DraytonValley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans fell to Griggs-Midkota (G-M) 3-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Drayton.With a record of 5-1, G-M came into the contest atop the standings in Region 2, District 3.

Titans fall to tornadoes in District match

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans girls’ volleyball team had won four of their last six regularseason matches prior to facing District 3 opponent Cavalier last Thursday in Cavalier.

Bombers BLAST Clippers in Strasburg

The Drayton Bombers kept the undefeated train rolling down the tracks with their latest stop in Strasburg on Saturday, Oct. 4.The Bombers and Clippers were tied 6-6 early in the first quarter but Drayton outscored Strasburg 68-6 the rest of the contest on the way to a 74-12 win.

Titans come close in loss to undefeated Benson County

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans girls’ basketball team had the unenviable task of hosting the undefeated Benson County Wildcats on Tuesday, Sept. 23 in Edinburg.The Region 2 Wildcats came into the match at 13-0 on the season and ranked Fourth in the State in Class B Girls’ Volleyball.
