Jennifer Marciniak

Jennifer Donna Marciniak, formerly of Grand Forks ND, passed away unexpectedly of a blood infection March 31st at Renown Health Hospital in Reno NV.

Jennifer was born August 12th 1983 at United Hospital in Grand Forks ND.

She attended Drayton Public School and graduated in 2001. She later completed cosmetology training at Cambridge Academy of Beauty in 2003.

Jennifer held various jobs throughout her life in the cosmetology field and loved the art of makeup and hair. She was a talented hairdresser and throughout her life shared her gifts with many individuals. She also enjoyed fashion and had an eye for great clothing.

Jennifer had three sons whom she loved dearly. Being a mother was always her dream and in her early years as a young girl, worked as a babysitter to many lucky parents. Jennifer was amazing with children and loved little one’s with a passion.

Jennifer had an amazing sense of humor and loved nothing more than a good laugh. She had a quick wit and could make you laugh with her stories, and appreciated people who shared the gift of laughter more than anything. She was a fun young woman who loved a gathering of friends and could make you smile and see the funny side of things.

Jennifer was a great cook, and could throw together a meal out of nothing, a gift she no doubt learned from her mother who she considered her “rock” and best friend. She provided loving care unflinchingly to her mother in her final days and easily could have made an amazing nurse.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Beth Marciniak, paternal grandparents, Edward and Lorraine Marciniak, maternal grandparents, John and Donna Rasmussen, Uncle Darin Marciniak, Aunt Darlene Marciniak, and aunt Jill Foerster. Jennifer is survived by her father, David L. Marciniak, sons Wyatt, Walker and Waylon, brother Jed Marciniak (Melissa) niece Emma, nephew Carson, aunt Diane Fox, aunt Susan Lange (Troy) as well as many cousins and friends.

Jennifer will be sadly missed by all of us.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. in Austin Funeral Chapel, Drayton. Interment will be in Grafton City Cemetery.
