Bismarck, ND (April 11) – Today, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum signed two bills into law banning transgender girls from participating in girls’ sports at the K-12 and college levels. These laws protect girls’ sports by ensuring that biological males cannot compete in girls’ sports. North Dakota now joins 17 other states that have passed protections for female athletes.
