At the appointed time Jesus will return to earth, riding on a beautiful white horse. Behind Him, also riding on white horses are “the armies which are in heaven” (Revelation 19:11, 14). Zechariah 14:5 and Jude 14 tell us that this army, at least in part, consisted of God’s people who had previously been taken to Heaven.
