Shortly before ten o’clock Tuesday morning the electronic sign on Main Street showed a temperature of 13 degrees. The sun was shining, yet there was a bite in the air that only could be brought by the wind chill factor making it feel much colder. The predicted high for Tuesday according to the National Weather Service was near 20 with a south wind of 16 to 22 miles per hour and gust as high as 36.
