Linda Staskivige, of Drayton, ND, passed away peacefully at Unity Medical Center in Grafton, ND, on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Linda Marie Beverly Paulson Staskivige was born August 6, 1945, to Joseph and Verne (Janakowski) Paulson in Pulaski Township of Walsh County, ND, near Warsaw and was delivered by her father.
Linda was baptized at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Warsaw. She attended schools in Donnelly, Stephen, and Williams, MN.
Linda married Donald Duane Staskivige on June 20, 1965, in Warren, Minnesota. They lived in Saint Thomas, ND, Stephen, MN, and Drayton, ND. Linda worked various jobs, including hoeing beets for Peter, Grant, and Eddie Kuznia in Stephen, and Robert Raney, Ray Knoff, and Arnet Weinlaeder in Drayton; cleaning homes for Marvin Bates, Happy Elliot, Marie Jensen, and Winnie Bloomquist; working at the Grand Cafe, Dicks Drive-Inn, and Hastings Landing; and hauling potatoes for Boone Farms, Ardell Fortier, and Leonard Heder.
When beet harvest came around, Linda hauled for Clinton Gjevere and Harvey Bloomquist. She later worked at American Crystal and while employed there, received her welding certificate from North Valley AVTI in Grafton in 1999 and her Chemistry Degree from Devils Lake College in 2006. She was a member of Grain Millers Union #326. Linda enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included playing cards, bingo, and casinos. Linda and Donald moved to Tisdale Manor on March 20, 2016.
Donald died on May 5, 2016.
Family members include daughters, Kelly (Dave) Nord, Grafton, ND, and Kimberly Staskivige, Drayton; a son, Donnie (Lisa) Staskivige, Drayton; grandchildren, Lindsey and fiancé,( William Linzsey), Matthew (Tiffany) Nord, and David Englund; great grandchildren, Hunter, Sophie, Charlie, William Jr., Christian, Brook Lynn, Pearce, Addison, Owen and Wyatt; and a brother, Richard Paulson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents; a brother, Joseph Paulson Jr. and a sister, Janice Lorenzen.
Mass of Christian Burial w held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Edward's Catholic Church, Drayton. Interment was in St. Edward's Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the church for one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in St. Edward's Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
