Probably my favorite upland game bird to hunt is the Ruffed Grouse. Not only is the Ruffed Grouse fun to hunt, they make excellent table fare. I guess I have been hunting them for more than 20 years. I remember coming across one in the woods in southeastern Minnesota when I was about 15 and hunting squirrels with some friends.
