When I was a boy Halloween was a great time to get lots of candy. Like boys and girls everywhere we went door to door in our town of just over 100 people saying, “trick or treat.” We would fill our paper sacks with enough candy to last until Christmasstocking time, which would hopefully last until the Easter Bunny hid Easter eggs in our yard.
