On Monday, John Nyegaard of Hallock had supper with his inlaws, Merv and Phyllis Holter.Mike and Judy Stellon took Landon Mapel to their Maple Lake home for the weekend to celebrate Landon’s 15th birthday.Because of the inclement weather, events scheduled on Tuesday got moved to Sunday.

We moved into our new house in the neighborhood in 1959. Richie was there nearly from the beginning. He was a year younger than our brother Paul so they soon became friends.He often could be found sitting on our steps or hanging out in our back yard, to see what the Van Camp’s were up to.
