Prism of prose: Ask

Why do we pray? We may have a whole list of personal reasons.Jesus gives one very clear reason when he prayed, “Father, bring glory to your name” (John 12:28, NLT). I have often prayed with my personal desires at the forefront.My thinking was often backwards when approaching prayer.

Recently a religious leader said that “Jesus does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war”. Is that an accurate reflection of what the Bible says about God and war? I want to look at several passages.

While many seniors are counting down the days until graduation, Jerimiah Johnson is preparing for something much bigger — representing North Dakota on a national culinary stage.

History comes alive at Drayton Public School

Students take part in Living History MuseumDrayton Public School's elementary hallway was transformed on April 17 when students dressed up as their favorite historic figures to give short presentations and bring history to life for students, staff, and family members.

Titans qualify four athletes for State Meet battling Mother Nature in start to Outdoor Track season

Spartan Classic Elizabeth Fedje — 1st, 300 hurdles (:46.44), state qualifying and new venue record (previous: :46.74, Julia Skari, Jamestown, 2025); 1st, high jump (5’0”), state qualifying; 3rd, long jump (16’7.25”), state qualifying and new Titan record (previous: 15’8”, Taylor Reilly, 2018).
