Titans Lose Exciting Overtime Contest to North Star

The Titans girls hosted North Star in Crystal on Thursday evening of last week and lost an exciting overtime contest by a 57-50 score. Kasey Stegman led the locals with 21, Meghan Lorton and Madison Hermanson had 10 each, and Easton Larson put in 9.

By Lyle Van Camp On Saturday afternoon the Titans girls and boys hosted Finley-Sharon-HopePage in Edinburg for an action-packed afternoon of Region II basketball. In the varsity opener the girls defeated the Spartans in a 58-32 contest.

Titans Fall to Eagles in Walhalla

On Monday evening the Titans girls traveled to Walhalla where they faced the Eagles on their home court. Using strong defensive pressure, the Eagles defeated the visitors in a 43-29 contest.

Titans Travel to Northern Cass

On Tuesday evening of last week, the Titans boys traveled to Norther Cass where they picked up a 67-64 win. Tyson Backer led the scoring with 26 points, Caleb Kartes 11, Sam Johnson added 10, Alex Swanson 8, Lucas Pastorek and Gage Pollestad had 6 each.

Titans Boys Fall in Overtime for the Second Time in Three Days

In the second half of a home double-header the Titans boys fell behind early but clawed their way back to force overtime against the Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page Spartans. Unfortunately, the Spartans outlasted the Titans in the OT to claim a 5549 win.

The Titans girls hosted Hillsboro/Central Valley in Drayton on Monday evening of last week and picked up a 42-31win. Kasey Stegman poured in 24 points to lead the locals, Ella Kittelson added 8, Easton Larson 4, Meghan Lorton and Madison Hermanson added 3 each.

Titans Girls Fall to Park River in Crystal

On Friday evening of last week the Titans girls hosted Park River/Fordville-Lankin in the Crystal gym and lost a hard fought, defensive contest by a 24-22 score. Madison Hermanson led the Titans with 11 points, Kasey Stegman added 8, Meghan Lorton added 3.

On Saturday of last week the Titans boys hosted Midway-Minto at Edinburg. The Mustangs spoiled the day for the hometown crowd stealing a 64-58 win. Sam Johnson led the home team with 16 points, Tyson Backer added 13, Gage Pollestad 12, Alex Swanson 7, Caleb Kartes 6, Lucas Pastorek added 4.

Titans Take On Polar Bears

On Monday evening of last week the Titans boys travelled to Larimore where they defeated the Polar Bears in a 47-41 contest. Tyson Backer led the Titans with 13 points, Lukas Pastorek and Gage Pollestad added 10 each, Caleb Kartes 6, Alex Swanson 4, Sam Johnson and Jayse Larson added 2 each.
