Titans dominate Chargers in home victory at Edinburg

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans girls’ basketball team picked up a big non-conference win, topping the Nelson County Chargers 7353 at Edinburg on Jan. 26.The Titans got big performances from two of their senior leaders as Elizabeth Fedje scored 28 points and Brooke Gullickson had 20.

Titans TOPPLE Cardinals

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans boys’ basketball team picked up a big win against Region 2 foe Langdon on Tuesday, Jan. 20.Trailing 40-31 after three quarters, the Titans outscored the visiting Cardinals 18-8 in the final stanza to pull out the one-point victory, 49-48.

Aggies BEAT Titans in defensive struggle

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans girls’ basketball team faced district rival Park River-Fordville-Lankin on Friday, Jan. 23, in Edinburg.The game turned out to be a defensive struggle for most of the contest, with the Aggies coming away with a 56-50 win in the end.

The Park River-Fordville-Lankin Aggies boys’ basketball team saw a big second-quarter performance hold up in a 50-43 win over the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans last Tuesday, Jan. 6.Behind six points by junior Mason Pollestad, the Titans managed an 11-11 tie after one quarter.

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans boys basketball team hosted the Cavalier Tornadoes on Friday in Crystal.Despite turning the ball over 27 times, the Tornadoes managed to pull out a 58-53 overtime win.
