Titans open Region 2 Schedule with Grafton

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Boys’ Basketball team opened their Region 2 schedule by hosting the Grafton Spoilers on Dec. 16 in Drayton. The Spoilers’ defense kept the Titans at bay and Grafton scored 30 points in the third quarter on the way to a 7734 victory.

Titans open 2022 campaign with loss in Starkweather

The Drayton Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans Boys’ basketball team got the season started with a road trip to Starkweather Monday Dec. 12 against Region 4 opponent North Star. The Titans found it difficult to contain senior guard Dane Hagler and that translated into a 71-39 loss to the Bearcats.

Aggies win rivalry match in Crystal

The Confines of the Crystal school gymnasium witnessed a competitive battle between Region 2 girls’ basketball foes Saturday afternoon, Dec. 17. When the smoke had cleared, the Park River-Fordville-Lankin Aggies emerged with a 43-35 victory.

Titan’s drop first region game at Hillsboro

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans battled, but dropped their Region 2 opener to the Hillsboro- Central Valley (H-C-V) Burros, 51-42 Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Hillsboro. The Titans trailed, 7-4 after one quarter but dropped 23 points in the second quarter to take a 27-26 halftime lead.

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans struggled offensively in a 6017 loss to the Grafton Lady Spoilers Friday, Dec. 9. The Titans managed only two points in the first, a field goal by sophomore Aleah Pokrzywinski while the Spoilers put in 23.

Titans win season opener

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans girls’ basketball team is 1-1 after their first two games of the season. The Titans opened up with a 6028 victory over Warwick Dec. 1 in Edinburg and dropped a 65-24 decision to North Prairie Dec. 3 in Rolla.
