Titans hang with Mustangs

The D-V-E Titans boys’ basketball team had a tough task on Friday, Feb. 6 hosting the state-ranked Midway-Minto Mustangs. Coming into the match up, the Mustangs had just one loss on the season and has been ranked in the top 10 all season.

Titans fall to Polar Bears in Larimore

The Titans’ boys’ basketball team fell behind early to the Polar Bears and struggled to come back all the way in a 53-40 loss at Larimore on Feb. 4.Hot shooting Larimore hit five three pointers in the first half and D-V-E found itself down by a score of 32-16 at the half.

D-V-E girls headed to District 3 Tournament

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Girls’ Basketball team finished the 20242025 regular season with a pair of wins leading up to the District 3 Tournament.On Monday, Feb. 3, the Titans defeated North Prairie 58-54 in Rolla.

Titans shoot lights out, beat Griggs

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans snapped a two game losing streak with a 56-36 win over Griggs-Midkota on Saturday in Edinburg.The Titans started slow, falling behind, 11-7 after one quarter, but heated up after that. D-V-E outscored G-M 18-8 in the second quarter to take a 25-19 halftime lead.

Titan boys loose close game to Cavalier

The D-V-E Boys’ basketball team was looking to snap a four-game losing streak, but came up a little bit short in a 48-42 loss, Friday, Jan. 31 at Cavalier.The home-standing Tornadoes dominated the first half, posting a 3322 lead at the intermission.

Titans battle tough opponents

By Mike Alan Steinfeldt The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans faced three tough opponents on the road in the past week.D-V-E fell to Benson County 77-51 on Tuesday, Jan. 28, in Leeds; Hatton-Northwood 66-45 on Jan. 30; and lost to Nelson County 66-32 in McVille on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Titan girls continue to struggle

Edinburg Titans won a game, they topped the Midway-Minto Mustangs, 45-39 in Drayton on Dec. 17.The Mustangs returned the favor on Jan. 16, in Minto handing the Titans their fifth straight loss by the score of 41-30.

Titan boys fall to Northern Cass

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg boys’ basketball team had their hands full on Friday Dec. 10 hosting Class A Northern Cass in Edinburg.D-V-E fell behind early and never caught up, falling to the Jaguars 6545.“Northern Cass is a good and well coached team,” Head coach Jacob Larson said.
