On Dec. 20, Lisa Jackson of the Twin Cities came to the home of her mother, Saralee Hoselton where she spent the night. The next day, Lisa took Saralee to her home in Woodbury, MN where she spent the next two weeks.

I was shocked the other day when I saw an online survey that calculated how much money parents are planning on spending per-child this Christmas.The survey, by Coupon Birds, says that, on average, parents will spend $461 on each child’s wish list this Christmas.
