There seems to be a double standard going on. There is a long overdue push to end sex trafficking. This is an exceptionally good thing and it needs to be done. There are many young girls from around the world who are sold into this type of slavery every year. Not to mention women, men, and boys.

This year with the start of school under very different circumstances I thought long and hard about continuing my student of the week column. It is something that the students, the parents, and I look forward to every year. It gives me a chance to get to know our youngest students.
