Impostor Scams

Older North Dakotans are receiving unexpected phone calls offering them a plastic chip card to replace their paper Medicare card. Of course, the calls are a scam to get them to give up personal information. It’s just one of many impostor scams that continue to evolve and find new victims.

Moving forward…

Another election is over. Now it is time to move forward. No matter who you voted for and whether they were elected or not on any level it is time to move forward. The choice has been made, now we need to work on reuniting our country rather than causing further division.

So, as much as I hate to have to say this, Mask Up America.

Mask up America. Masks are a myth and we don’t need them for anything. If you refuse to wear a mask you are putting me in danger. You cannot force me to wear a mask and I am not going to.

Legislative Report

The number of legislative meetings that occur before the legislative session every two years seems to keep increasing each biennium. With Covid-19 most of them are by TEAMS over the computer or by conference call. That seems to just make it easier for people to call a meeting.

Capitol Insight

As I write this, the election is 10 days away. Soon we will see the results of our campaign efforts and hopefully the results of our national election will be clear. I believe those that say this is the most important election in our country’s history may be correct. Time will tell.
